Meet The Trainer
Hi! My name is Courtney Peugeot. I am an alumni of Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Communication and a minor in Agribusiness. Growing up I always had a strong love for dogs and knew I wanted to work with them. I love helping people and dogs so I knew my future had to consist of dog training.
In grade school I had a family dog named Trixie Lou who sparked my love for dogs even more. I began pet sitting and carried on through college. I have experience with various dog breeds, cats, and other animals. Pet sitting has helped me grow as a dog trainer and understand different breeds and their behaviors.
I have been a puppy raiser for multiple non-profit service dog training organizations since 2021 and am still an active volunteer. I have worked at a dog training facility and am now pet CPR certified.
In March of 2024, I adopted one of the service dogs in training that I was volunteering for. We became very close and he transferred from a service dog career to life as a pet. His name is Clifton and he is one of the faces of Middle Tennessee Dog Training. You can find him in the logo and photos on the website and socials.
I began helping people train their dogs in 2022 and have loved doing it since. I enjoy helping dog owners build confidence in their dog training skills.
